This brand new holiday home is located in the heart of the Ardennes, lost in the middle of the Natural Park of the two Ourthes. Here you can hear the buzzard calling and you can spot a fox, a deer, a raccoon or a squirrel in the garden. You will find a good night’s sleep in an oasis of extraordinary silence.

A tour

Welcome to “La fleur charmante”, “The charming flower”. This holiday home is suitable for 7 people. On the ground floor you will find a cozy living room that flows into the open kitchen and dining area. There is also a separate toilet and a large storage room. On the first floor are the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and a separate toilet. You can also enjoy the tranquility that the region offers in the spacious garden.

Comfort

The cottage is very well insulated with natural materials such as cork, paper flakes and wood. As a result, there is always a very pleasant climate indoors. You use the central heating and the wood stove can be used without obligation for extra cosiness and warmth.

The rooms are airy with high ceilings up to the roof and large windows. The two separate bathrooms and two separate toilets ensure optimum privacy and ease of use.

In the salon you will find peace and light with comfortable seats for relaxing.

The kitchen is vintage and equipped with an oven, combi-oven-microwave, fridge / freezer, coffee maker, extractor, 5-burner electric hob and a double sink. There are more than enough facilities to cook, eat and drink yourself.

The dining room is equipped with antique furniture and an extendable table for the entire group. There is a child’s and a baby seat.

There is a washer-dryer combination in the storage room.

The garden

is not classically managed but a choice for local wild flowers and plants. There is a path to the shadow terrace under the oak, to a flat piece of grass where you can put a tent and to the forest in the back of the garden where a stream babbles. In July and August there is an unheated swimming pool in the garden where the children can romp around in the water.

This house has its own water purification station. It is a lagoon with flowering plants at the bottom of the garden. The purification process is natural, very efficient and 100% odorless. We ask to use only biodegradable products for sanitary, shower, dishes and laundry.

Area

Located in Buisson, a small rural village between La-Roche-en-Ardennes and the reservoir of Nisramont, this cottage is a base for beautiful adventurous walks, bike rides or canoe trips in the valley of the upper reaches of the Ourthe. In the middle of the nature park of the two Ourthes you can find everything in La-Roche-en-Ardennes. La-Roche-en-Ardennes is only 10 minutes away by car.
The Herou is a rock massif where climbers can descend to the twists of the Ourthe. Le Cheslé is also situated, a high plateau above the Ourthe with the ruins of a Celtic natural fortress from 800 BC.
In the region you will find many charming rural villages such as Nadrin and Houffalize. Achouffe is known for its beers and gnomes. The Nisramont reservoir is just a few kilometers away. The Baraque Fraiture is also not far away.
A trip to Bastogne, Luxembourg and Marche-en-famenne are possible.
The cottage is at an altitude of 400 meters and occasionally there may be snow in the winter.

Rental price

Included in the price: electricity, heating, use of wood stove, internet connection, garbage bags, tourist tax, final cleaning.

Rental price: € 340 / weekend. € 480 / long weekend.

At low seasonal prices there is a € 20 discount / night.

Low season 2020; from 6 Jan to 21 February, from 2 March to 3 April, from 20 April to 24 April, from 4 May to 20 May, from 25 May to 29 May, from 2 June to 30 June, from 31 August to 16 October, from October 26 to October 30, from November 9 to December 18.

Deposit: € 300

The deposit must be transferred 10 days before the booking. In accordance with the terms and conditions of sale, the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of your departure, provided that no damage or anomaly was detected during your departure or during the subsequent cleaning. We count on you to notify us if there is a problem such as a defective device or damage. We do our utmost to solve a problem in a respectful manner.

Payment:

Your payment for your stay and the deposit is your confirmation of your reservation.
